Holi powder Engagement session in Vence

Diana is originally from Reunion island (indian ocean), where there is a strong Hindu population.
On this beautiful island every year is organized a festival where the entire population participates. A very festive and multicultural moment.
By exchanging every three (with the designer of her wedding dress: Marynea) came the idea of organizing an engagement session on the theme of Holi.

Once purchased the powder, created the wedding dress,  especially tailored for the shooting and the date (a few weeks before the wedding) we went the Col de Vence.
A superb late afternoon, we first walked before moving on to serious things 🙂.
D&T had a great time, between laughter and tender moment there was powder everywhere.
Maryne came for the occasion and also had fun with the powder 🙂.

Marine, Wedding dress designer on the French Riviera

The theme of the festival of colors in India and its beautiful shots of colored powders inspired me for a while now, and I had already talked with Thiebauld about the project of Holi shoot with a beautiful short wedding dress that would specially created for the occasion. Indeed, the idea of a live colorized dress and evolve as and when the shooting as a « performance art » enormously pleased me and I was ready to make this small sacrifice. once the little couple found and the dress created, we were ready for a good delirium session at Col de Vence!

I admit I had some reservations regarding the powder used for the shooting, but Thiebauld reassured me by telling me it was food powder. So not harmful to nature.
We didn’t use more powder than necessary. The photo shoot was as playful aesthetic, it was a real pleasure!I even was surprised the next day to find that after a good wash, all colors of the dress was gone, yet very white at the base!
